Allergen information
Flourish and Bakes is not a free-from kitchen, and as such, cannot guarantee that there are no traces of the 14 named allergens in any products. Food allergies and intolerances are taken very seriously, and if you have any concerns, please contact me before placing your order.
Transporting your cake/cupcakes
Please carry your cake/cupcakes from underneath, some of my boxes lift away from the base and holding the sides of the box can squash your cake. In the car please place items in the front passenger footwell. The air conditioning should be on in summer and heating off in winter
Storing your cake/cupcakes
At home, please store your cake/cupcakes in the fridge, in the box provided, when possible, (as this will avoid the taste being tainted by other items in the fridge) these will be at their best when removed from the fridge an hour before eating.
Serving your cake
When serving your cake, please be aware of any non-edible parts contained and ensure they are removed. Flourish and Bakes makes all elements and decorations by hand, and as much of the cake as possible is edible. However, dowels and cocktail sticks must sometimes be used as supports, and you will be advised when this is the case.
Unless advised otherwise, remove cakes from the fridge an hour before serving.

* An idea of style and theme (please note I will not directly copy someone else’s work but can use examples to influence the final design, if you have any in mind)
Delivery/collection
Delivery is available, local delivery is £2.00 (this includes Peterculter, Bieldside, Cults, Maryculter and Drumoak)
Non- local delivery is £5.00, this includes Aberdeen City and most of the shire, please ask if unsure ( I will reduce delivery costs if I have multiple deliveries are going to the same area)
Collection is from Peterculter
Payment method
I will invoice you before collection/delivery- once you have confirmed you are happy with your order. My invoices contain details for bank transfer and have a secure stripe payment link to use, if you prefer.
Payment terms are; due on receipt.
I don’t currently take deposits and ask that any cancellations are made as early as possible to ensure products don’t need to be thrown out. If cancellation happens after I have begun to work on the cake, an invoice will be raised for expenses incurred to date.
Ingredients
Unless otherwise requested/stated, all cakes and cupcakes use only free range eggs, whole cows milk and unsalted dairy butter from responsible sources. I do not use margarine in my baking unless specifically requested and I do not use cake mix
Please note that Flourish and Bakes accept no responsibility for damage to cakes once they have been delivered/collected.
